ATC--Artist Trading Card--Swap What is an ATC? An
ATC is a miniature piece of original art which must measure 2 1/2" by 3 1/2"--the size of a baseball trading card
and may be reproduced, ATCs are traded, never sold, worldwide. The movement was begun by a Swiss artist
in 1997. When are Swaps Held? Our Swaps are held on the first Thursday of February, May, August, and November from
5 to 7 p.m. in our store. Artists gather not just to trade cards but to share inspiration. The conversation
is always lively, and we serve refreshments. The night of the swap artists may purchase art supplies at 15% off. We
ask that each artist donate at least one card to our permanent album. How are ATCs created? Any media, materials or techniques may be used to create an ATC. Strathmore Artists
Papers has created a variety of correctly sized small format cards in various textures and weights and are available at Hoosier
Highlander. Or you can cut your own paper to size.
